Leopard Heights

Leopard pugmarks, barking deer calls, twittering birds, chirping crickets, rustling trees and a unique luxury camping experience await you at Leopard Heights. Set up in pristine wilderness atop a hill overlooking the gurgling Ganges, this luxury camp is set up across the river from Shivpuri Village, near Rishikesh. Accommodation is in large tents with attached utilities. Access to this camp is either by zipping across the Ganges or by boat. You have to first row across the river and then hike up the hill for 15 minutes.

• Kayaking on a placid stretch near the camp

By Road:

Delhi – Meerut by pass – Khatauli – Muzaffarnagar by pass – Roorkee – Haridwar. Once you cross Haridwar, drive towards Rishikesh.

Leopard Heights is situated 16 kms ahead of Rishikesh, near Shivpuri Village on the Devprayag-Badrinath road. The camp is located across the river from Shivpuri village. While on the Devprayag road from Rishikesh, you come to the Shivpuri Bridge. After crossing the bridge, on the left side of the road look out for the signboard for Camp Panther (also a Snow Leopard Adventures campsite) at Shivpuri Village. Once you reach Camp Panther, our team members will take you across to Leopard Heights.

By Rail:

Nearest railhead to Shivpuri is Haridwar. Two recommended trains from Delhi for Haridwar are:-

• Dehradun Shatabdi:

  Arrive Haridwar 1115 hrs.
  Depart Haridwar 1800 hrs. Arrive Delhi 2230 hrs.

By Air:

Nearest Airport to Shivpuri is Dehradun Jolly Grant airport. There are three daily flights to Dehradun from Delhi.
